Sold - The mid-80's was a great era for the Gold Cup too with Burrough Hill Lad and Dawn Run, etc. Always seemed to be a misty day too, made it very atmospheric, and with Peter O'Sullevan commentating.

The Irish are on another level . At the moment compared to us. Have far more strength in depth .this coming flat.season will be the same .

Since McCoy, Walsh and geraghty retired, there's a serious lack of talent sitting on the good British horses.
Irish have the best horses and jocks all in their own country at the moment.
Brian Hughes the champion hasn't done a single day at the festival!

But been there, seen it done it.
Can easily pick holes in the other horses.

AE... it's that price because of the depth in the field... when you have previous festival winners in the field at 200/1... Current King George Winner at 16/1.... Gold Cup winner in 2018 at 14's... there is about 10 horses in that field if they won you would not think it a fluke... personally think it's a superb field this year

Picked up over a monkey today so have had worst days... 4 winners and a place in a 5p ew SH... and 120.00 picked up in singles... annoying thing is I talked myself out of the Shunter which would have got be a bag plus... BUT... have had worst days
